SUBJECT: PGM – PROGRAM CONTRACTS SYSTEM SUSPENSION OF CONTRACT MANAGEMENT ACTIVITIES

Purpose: Provide guidance on the upcoming suspension of contract management activities in the Program Contracts System (ProTracts).

Expiration Date: September 30, 2009.

ProTracts will undergo annual maintenance and new-year setup activities from September 15 to October 15, 2008.

Contract modifications needed to process a payment will be completed, submitted for approval in ProTracts, and approved by an approving official by September 18, 2008. All other contract modification activities should cease until ProTracts is activated for fiscal year 2009 contract management activities.

No payments will be approved in ProTracts after the close of business September 19, 2008.

Additional information will be provided when contract management activities may begin in FY 2009.
