Subpart D - NRCS Plan for a National Emergency

OH403.30  Succession of line officers.

2. State and field offices.
   
   (1)  If the State Conservationist is not available at the time of a national emergency, the employees who occupy the following positions are to act for the State Conservationist in the order listed:
   
       (i)   Assistant State Conservationist (Operations)
       (ii)  Assistant State Conservationist (Special Projects)
       (iii) Assistant State Conservationist (Programs)
       (iv) State Resource Conservationist
       (v)  State Conservation Engineer
       (vi) State Soil Scientist
   
   (2)  The State Administrative Officer will serve as an advisor to the acting State Conservationist.
