CONSERVATION SECURITY PROGRAM (CSP)INFORMATIONAL MEETINGS SCHEDULED
Preparing Producers for Sign-up

COLUMBUS, Feb. 14, 2008 –

Agricultural producers in the Sandusky Watershed are invited to attend one of five informational meetings to be held in February 2008 in preparation for the next Conservation Security Program (CSP) sign-up.  While the next CSP sign-up has not yet been scheduled, producers in the watershed can prepare documents and records now.

 The Sandusky Watershed includes portions of Ottawa, Sandusky, Erie, Wood, Seneca, Huron, Wyandot, Crawford, Richland, Hardin, and Marion Counties.  A map with the Sandusky Watershed boundaries can be seen at http://www.oh.nrcs.usda.gov/programs/csp_2/csp_home_2008.html.
