SUBJECT: ENG – CHANGES TO THE AGRICULTURAL WASTE MANAGEMENT FIELD HANDBOOK

Purpose: To delete and/or replace Ohio supplements to the AWMFH.

Effective Date: These supplements are effective upon receipt.

Explanation of Changes: These supplements supercede and cancel all previously issued Ohio supplements numbered OH1 through OH10.

The only major change was to update the agency name from SCS to NRCS and reformat the supplements into an electronic version for posting on the Ohio NRCS website.

Filing Instructions: Discard all previously issued Ohio supplements (green sheets), including the tabulation sheet for Ohio supplements. Insert the following pages:

(1) New tabulation sheet for Ohio supplements.
(2) Insert the following Ohio pages, dated January 2005, behind the following national pages:

Pages OH6-22 (1) through (2) following page 6-22.
Pages OH7-20 (1) through (7) following page 7-20.
Pages OH10-34 (1) through (5) following page 10-34.

This will be the last hard copy distribution of the Ohio supplements. These Ohio supplements and all future changes to the supplements will be posted on the Ohio NRCS website at: http://www.oh.nrcs.usda.gov/technical/engineering/references/awmfh_suppl.html.

Offices and/or employees are encouraged to maintain hard copies of the AWMFH and Ohio supplements on an as needed basis. Individuals are responsible for ensuring that the latest versions of the AWMFH and supplements are being used by checking the website.
