1. Creating a report using Soil Data Mart via eFOTG

Reports generated using the Soil Data Mart via eFOTG are identical to the reports generated using the Soil Data Mart.  The only difference is the way the Soil Data Mart is accessed.  These instructions are used when generating a report when going through eFOTG.

Equipment needed:

  • Computer with internet connection

Advantages:

  • No software needed
  • Produces tables in a style similar to published soil survey
  • Can select as few as one map unit or all map units in county

Disadvantage:

  • Report interpretations are “bundled”; eg. Sewage Disposal report contains both Septic Tank Absorption Fields and Sewage Lagoons interpretations
