Ohio Soil Inventory Board

The Soil Inventory Board consists of representatives of the three major agencies involved in the National Cooperative Soil Survey in Ohio. The  agencies are the Natural Resources Conservation Service, the Ohio Department of Natural Resources-Division of Soil and Water Conservation, and The Ohio Agricultural Research and Development Center. The purpose of the Soil Inventory Board is to coordinate efforts among the three agencies in conducting the National Cooperative Soil Survey. The Board is responsible for guiding the soil survey program for the state.
